We make learning feel less like a lecture and more like a long, good book.
A small studio building a quiet learning portal for makers, teachers, and curious operators. Six courses, lifetime access, no infinite scroll.
“Slow learning, on purpose.”
— The first principle, written above our desk.
A reading room, not a feed.
We started this portal in 2023 after watching too many beautiful courses get diluted into 30-second clips. We wanted a place that respected the pace of how people actually learn — chapters, footnotes, side notes, the occasional re-read.
Three years and six courses later, the philosophy has only gotten quieter. Every lesson is written first, then optionally filmed. Every course has a clear scope. And every course is something we would happily re-read ourselves.

The rules we hung above the desk.
Write first
Every lesson is written before it is filmed. Reading scales — to bookmarks, footnotes, copy-paste, and quiet evenings.
Slow the pace
No autoplay. No streaks. No nagging notifications. The lesson sits there until you are ready.
Respect attention
Lessons are short — 5 to 15 minutes. Courses are honest about how long they take.
Cite sources
Where ideas come from books, papers, or other practitioners, we say so. Footnotes everywhere.
Build small
We would rather have six excellent courses than sixty average ones. Quality is a constraint, not a slogan.
A small team. We answer our own emails.
Naomi A.
Founder & curator
Started the portal after fifteen years of running cohort programs. Writes most of the LMS Fundamentals course.
Diego R.
Operations & memberships
Runs the membership and pricing curriculum. Previously led ops at two seven-figure learning businesses.
Rin M.
Community & editorial
Edits every course before it ships. Keeps the discussion threads warm and the typos out.
A small portal — measured honestly.
Courses published
Each one written + edited.
Hours of lessons
About one full read-through.
Active learners
Across 38 countries.
Completion rate
Across all paid courses.
Three years, six chapters.
A small studio opens
Two people, one shared notebook of ideas. The first course was a 4,000-word article called “How to read a course.”
The first three courses
LMS Fundamentals, Course Authoring, and Building an Engaged Community ship — written and re-written through twelve drafts.
Memberships and certificates
A pricing course, a free orientation, and printable certificates added. Community office hours start.
The advanced curriculum
Scaling Your Learning Business launches. Six courses, all of them re-readable, none of them obsolete.
If we had to put it on a single index card: read carefully, think slowly, build small. Everything we publish here is a long-form attempt to take that seriously — for ourselves, and for anyone willing to slow down with us.
